Sales Support Specialist

Job description

Globalinternet is looking for Sales Support specialist to strengthen our worldwide Sales & Account Management Team, operating from Manila. You are in charge of receiving pricing requests from customers and processing customers orders. 

You support the Sales & Account Management team with processing pricing requests which you format so that these can be accurately worked on by the procurement teams. You provide the price response back to the customer. You will also process customer orders and make them available to the Delivery team.

You will report to the Sales Support Manager.   

This role requires a strong attention to details, experience in data processing and analysis, and the ability to work in a global team environment. Besides that, you speak and write fluently English, have knowledge of telecoms and excellent Excel and project management skills. 

Primary tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist and support Sales & Account Management team in their day to day operations.
  • Process customers price requests for new and existing business.
  • Ensure customer price and service requirements are understood. You will work with the Sales & Account Management team and customer if necessary, to clarify requirements.
  • Format requests into standard templates and upload them to our systems.
  • Obtain missing information by working with Sales & Account Management team and customers.
  • Export quote information and send quote response back to customers.
  • Process all new orders, change orders and cease requests, reviewing information provided by customers
  • Create orders into the system, working across Sales & Account Management, Procurement and Delivery to ensure orders are successfully placed and confirmed with customers.
  • Engage with Sales & Account Management team on all issues encountered on orders.

Requirements

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist
  • Telecoms knowledge
  • Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems
  • Experience in project management 
  • A real teamplayer with excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
