Job description

What you will do:

Are you a C# Developer with vision, who is able to further develop business critical software? Do you like to support our (internal) customers in technical challenges with your expertise? We are looking for a C# developer based in Amsterdam to further develop our customer portal and work on web developments. As a member of a multidisciplinary and motivated development team you will be responsible for designing and developing functionality for our customer portal that is built on the Magentrix platform (C# with Asp.net based SaaS).


Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, clean and testable C# code

  • Developing technical specifications and architecture

  • Analyzing business needs and translating them into innovative and functional applications for our customer portal and other web development initiatives

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

  • Maintain a good habit of documenting requirements, technical design, and code

  • Collaborate with other members of IT and contribute to overall advancement of the IT organization

Requirements

Education and experience

  • C#, Asp.NET, HTML, Javascript (React preferably) and CSS

  • SQL and Database management

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 3 years of experience in web based developments in C# (webapps, web services, SaaS,  etc.)

  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus

  • Experience working on a B2B environment is a plus

  • Other valued skills to have are AWS architecture understanding & configuration, JSON, XML, Wordpress, API Interaction, Heroku, Azure

  • Strong knowledge of English (verbal and in writing)
