What you will do:
Our company is growing and so is the need for smart IT solutions and the further development of our IT strategy and vision. This is the highest IT leadership role for the company. As a member of the company management team you will have complete ownership of the execution of the companywide IT strategy and you will ensure this strategy is aligned with the overall business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success.
You carry out current knowledge and future vision of leveraging information and technology in business model design, business processes re-engineering, products and services development, and support for competitive advantage. You will lead the development of the IT strategy and roadmap, ensure its integration with the company’s strategic planning process, and the resulting business plans. You are able to respond with agility to changing business priorities. You use your influencing and negotiation skills to create synergies across the company to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutions in achievement of business goals. You provide strategic direction in the IT organization's innovation efforts and role in experimenting with new solutions to take advantage of those opportunities in the fulfillment of the digital business strategy of the organization. Part of your role will be to develop an IT people strategy that aligns with the business and IT strategy. You continually look for leading-edge and innovative solutions to the recruitment, development and retention of the IT team.
Set the mission and vision of the IT organization to foster business-oriented culture and mindset.
Act as a trusted advisor, and build and maintain relationships with other MT members to develop a clear understanding of business needs. You ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs
Define and execute the digital business strategy. Participate in the assessment of external digital opportunities and threats, and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning.
Maintain currency on new technologies and platforms and provide direction on what emerging technologies to be integrated within the company to respond to the needs of the digital business strategy.
Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems and programs that fulfill the needs of the business, including architecture management, application management, security and risk management, and infrastructure and operations support management.
Develop and control annual operating and capital expenditure budget for IT to ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives of the company
Direct the development of IT sourcing strategy and provide executive oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management.
Lead the establishment and execution of a digital workplace strategy that ensures employees have the tools and work environment to be more engaged, productive and effective.
Drive the development of company technology standards, governance processes and performance metrics to ensure IT delivers value to the organization.
Inspire and grow the IT team through leadership, coaching, empowerment, and by challenging them to do their best work.
With your international and entrepreneurial mindset you will bring our IT strategy to the next level. You have the capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments by taking advantage of digital opportunities to innovate business models and enable the digitalization of the business.

You have a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other companies are employing them to drive digital business and how they may be applied to the organization.
Education and experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
Strong knowledge of English (verbal and in writing)
Ten or more years of experience in IT and business/industry.
Five to seven years of leadership responsibilities.
Preferably five or more years of experience in related, industry-leading, large, cross-functional teams and/or companywide programs, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
Experience in IT strategic planning, organization design and development
Experience in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments by taking advantage of digital opportunities to innovate business models and enable the digitalization of the business
Knowledge and skills
Ability to instill confidence in the business and demonstrate the business value of IT.
Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role.
Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills.
Expertise in budget planning and financial management.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic people plan that ensures that the right people are in the right roles at the right time and that employees are highly engaged and satisfied.
Ability to identify and leverage resources internally and externally to the organization to enhance capabilities that drive digital business.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the IT team.
Prior experience in telecom /salesforce Cloud is a strong asset
